Live The Legend

After the success of Goldeneye 007 for the Wii, the complete and utter failure that was the Quantum Of Solace video game, and the highly popular Goldeneye Reloaded, we saw Activision, Eurocom, and M.G.M. (Metro Goldwyn Mayer) teaming up to release a game in time for when Skyfall hit theaters.
The general idea of the game was for you to play through 5 great Bond films (6 films if you downloaded the free Skyfall DLC or got the Wii U version which had the DLC preloaded onto the disc.) I was really excited to see how they would fit all the mentioned films (Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Licence To Kill, Moonraker, Die Another Day, and Skyfall) together in one continuous story line. In short, they didn’t. The game opens with the Skyfall scene of Eve accidentally shooting Bond and Bond falling of the train and the bridge into the river below where he is presumed dead. This somewhat cool way of bringing about what comes next is, in my opinion, a not half bad way of creating hallucinations in a person. Anyway, Bond has flashbacks to his previous missions. And that is the story line. By the way, did I mention how totally weird it is to see Daniel Craig’s likeness in a scene for Goldfinger?
The game plays alot like Goldeneye Reloaded as far as the control scheme is concerned. The campaign mode is not the best (compared to games like Goldeneye and it’s remakes, which followed the storyline pretty well) and the AI is laughably bad at times, but the game does have some redeeming features. Such as the pretty fun quicktime guard-quicktime events.
But it’s best feature BY FAR is the online multiplayer. In Goldeneye you got 5 XP per kill with very few XP bonuses. However, in 007 Legends, you get 100 XP per kill with a lot of XP bonuses possible. For instance, kill the entire enemy team = 1000 XP. Different amounts of XP are available depending on how much of a kill assist you get. Headshot kill = 125 XP. Melee kill = 125 XP. I am currently a level 37, MI6 Recruit: Grade IV. When I first started, I found other online players extremely tough. But not to worry, there are several cheat codes available to help some of the more noobish players out there. I tried them out myself and my favorite code, by far, is “astr0 b0y.” This code unlocks the best submachine gun in the game, the “Moonraker Mk2 Laser.” I’ve gotten more than 700 kills with that beast of a gun and I have completed all 10 weapon proficiencies. My favorite two attachments, for the Moonraker Mk2 Laser, are the Acog scope and the Variable Zoom. To get an advantage in combat, combine the Moonraker Mk2 Laser, with the ACOG Scope, and the Shadowing gadget. What Shadowing does is it makes it so that your footsteps, even when running, make NO noise! It also eliminates fall damage. On the Refinery 2 map the other day, I got 27 kills in one match with 4 deaths. The match before that, on Biodome, I got 28 kills with 4 deaths.
LOOK FOR PART 2 COMING SOON!
